Dheeraj Waghray

Co-founder & Global CEO

Dheeraj started his career walking the ramp for the leading fashion brands, and eventually, the backstage action got him excited about the organizing side of it. Alongside his fashion career, he was an avid sportsman and a great marathon runner during his earlier years. He played football at the national level and his passion made him a Founder and Co-owner of the Sphinx Football Club.

With a humble start in 1994, he envisioned Sphinx to be a global player in the events industry. Today, Dheeraj is a Chief Executive Officer based in New Jersey with a demonstrated history in strategic planning and managing teams globally. He possesses over 30 years of event management experience in APAC, MENA & NA region. Having key expertise in setting up the business in global markets, from incorporation to business development, he is leading the international business growth for Sphinx Adonis Events. Currently, Sphinx Adonis Events offers 360-degree consultations and complete event operations in prominent regions like Dubai, Singapore, Thailand, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Dheeraj also initiated and oversees a program to provide entertainment to the underprivileged of the society as part of giving back to the community.

Apart from being a visionary and competent CEO, Dheeraj is fond of reading & cooking.

Vikram Waghray

Co-founder & Managing Director

Started as ‘DJ VICKY’ at the age of 15, Vikram got into the entertainment industry with a budding zest. However, his love and enthusiasm for football gave him opportunities to play at the national level, and alongside his brother, he co-owned the Sphinx Football Club.

As a Managing Director with over 30 years of expertise in managing events globally, Vikram leads the global business operations for the company.

Vikram has extensive experience in planning and managing brand launches and dynamic track events for automobile companies such as KTM, Bajaj, and Ducati, allowing him to carve out a niche in the event industry. Additionally, he has developed a thorough understanding of the protocols involved in events attended by global CEOs, government officials and dignitaries including heads of state from various countries. This expertise has made him a specialist in providing event consultancy services to global clients like GE, Posco, Mazak, NewCold and the like.

Vikram served as an adjunct professor at the renowned Symbiosis Centre of Management Studies, where he provided training in event management. Keeping his love for music and travel alive, he currently lives in London.
